Bar Agricole

Nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s vibrant Mission District, Bar Agricole is where trend meets taste. Located at 2875 18th St, San Francisco, CA, this spot is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience wrapped in a classy, modern vibe with a touch of rustic charm. Whether you're planning a night out with friends or looking to unwind during happy hour, Bar Agricole checks all the boxes.

The menu leans bold and creative, blending farm-fresh ingredients with European flair. One bite of their Pork Liver on Toast and you’ll understand the hype—it’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Fans of comfort food rave about the Chopped Liver, a nostalgic dish elevated with finesse. If seafood is more your thing, the Sea Bass here is flaky, tender, and served with subtle citrus notes that make every bite feel like a mini escape.

The ambiance is what sets this place apart. It’s lively but not overwhelming, making it a great choice for groups who want good food without shouting over music. The lighting is moody in the best way, giving it that effortless “cool without trying too hard” energy. Add in some Happy Hour specials, and you’ve got yourself a go-to spot for weekday unwinds or weekend warm-ups.

Don't skip the Pork Belly if it’s on the menu—crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside, with just the right touch of smoky sweetness. And for those who love brunch-style comfort any time of day, the Poached Eggs are a quiet star—simple, silky, and surprisingly satisfying.

Bar Agricole is where elevated dining meets chill energy. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay for one more drink—and maybe order another round of small plates while you’re at it.

Such a wonderful spot. Soft lighting, tall ceilings, gorgeous artwork and layout, and good music playing in the background. I sat alone at the bar and the bartender who took my order was so charming and easygoing. I was a bit intimidated upon entering, but the hostess and Alex made me feel so at ease. I ordered several things off their impressive menu: -Smoked potatoes, miso aioli, dill -Spaghetti, preserved lemon -Brussel sprouts, preserved lemon chermoula, herb yogurt -Galette des rois Everything I had was mindfully crafted and beautifully plated. The candle with my galette was the nicest touch. Overall, very impressed with the entire production and can't wait to make this a new regular spot for me.

I was super excited to try this restaurant as my parents are friends with the owner and have always spoken very highly of it. When Bar Agricole reopened I snagged a res for dinner - we initially wanted to go only for drinks, but let me say you really need to experience dinner here. My feelings about the restaurant started off poorly. When we arrived the way the starkness of the restaurant coupled by the way the host engaged with us made us feel a bit off. We were seated at the end of a very long table and no one came to take our drink order or chat to us. We felt weird. My boyfriend joked it was like we were guests in the movie the Menu. Things took a turn for the better when our very lovely waiter, Eric, explained the cocktails to us and chatted us through the menu. We ended up getting the bread with a squash ricotta (this portion was quite small), the cheese (mini portion, but my all time favorite cheese Neal's Yard), a side chicory salad, the burger + potatoes. Everything was incredibly flavorful - simple yet gave way to truly letting the food shine. We will definitely be back. It's an experience worth checking out.

Such a cute bar. The aesthetics were on point. We walked in to grab a drink before dinner and ordered from their cocktail menu. I love the open concept bar/ table look. The drinks itself were good however I pictured our drinks to be presented differently. It literally came in a small glass. The drinks were on the pricier side for such a small glass. Since we were going to dinner we didn't want to ruin our appetite so we ordered the olives. The olives were surprisingly delicious. Coated with olive oil, the olive came warm. Great service. I do hope to come back to try their food.
